Responsible for undertaking the investments of mutual fund/portfolio assets. The portfolio manager will be responsible to implement the underling investment strategy, and managing the day-to-day Fund/portfolio trading. The portfolio manager will also be responsible for following up on client relationship and submitting quarter presentations to the client on the performance and strategy of each fund/portfolio. The portfolio manager MUST have strong knowledge of implementing different portfolio strategies based on client preference of Risk tolerance. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for maintaining a base of existing accounts and opening new accounts. Specific responsibilities include the following: Analyzes investment portfolios to determine asset allocation opportunities to maximize return or minimize investment risk, review and implement the underlying investment guidelines, monitor accounts asset allocations and apply rebalancing when necessary, understand and implement client investment preference and requests and respond to client queries. Accordingly the candidate MUST have decision-making capabilities. Applicants MUST have 7 years of work experience conducting investment analysis, portfolio construction, stock selection, performance measurement preferably with an Alternative Investment manager. The position demands strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements: Bachelor’s in economics or finance. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in portfolio management with strong background on the Egyptian Stock Market and fair knowledge on the regions stock markets Strong analytical (Research/Fundamental) Background. Strong marketing and Communication Skills Ability to work well within a team environment Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

The investment strategist is a member of the asset management team, responsible for developing/setting different allocation strategies by providing alternative investment solutions through investing funds  in the broad categories of assets (such as stocks, bonds, Cash, etc ...) The primary aim is to clients’ investment time horizon and match risk tolerance. The candidate must be highly experienced in developing & structuring products. The candidate must also be able to develop trade ideas, establish market views, and create asset allocation strategies to support the portfolio management team. Experience in implementing quantitative analytics in portfolio optimization is a must; accordingly the candidate must be strong in quantitative and statistical modeling. The candidate must have strong exposure to both the Egyptian stock market and the rest of the MENA region, and with strong knowledge in all types of asset class, supported by strong macro-economic fundamentals and stock fundamentals. As such the candidate will play an active role in equity analysis and stock selection.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in economics/ finance.
• Minimum 8-12 years experience in an asset management firm with exposure to both the Egyptian market and the rest of the  MENA region  
• Strong  macro-economic and research  fundamentals  
• Strong statistical background
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work well within a team environment
